Writing this would be a lot easier if I fit into a small little box. But the creative director you really want is one who will surprise you. You hire creative directors to push boundaries, to not just follow trends but to anticipate and set them. My role is to build the future and challenge conventional thinking.

Being a brand builder isn't enough. To truly excel, one must understand business models, master the tools, know the programs, grasp reward techniques, draw inspiration, and bring out the best in people.

I have a long history of being a leader and a thought-provoking creative. I've built businesses, designed courses for future students in our fields, and given back to my community.

Design is the lifeblood and sentiment behind messaging. If copy is the words we say, then design is the feeling. One without the other is useless. Fortunately, I excel at both.

But it doesn't stop there. For the past five years, I've been consulting on businesses, building brands, websites, identities, strategies, campaigns, social presence, and sales funnels.

From constructing murals out of potatoes to educating the public with puppets, I tackle problems by questioning where our 'boundaries' really are. I ask, what if these rules didn't exist? What if we flipped the script? Where does the client benefit the most long term? What elements of our culture can we borrow and infuse in unexpected ways? How do we make the unfamiliar, familiar?

Having organized internal systems, built tech stacks, and managed digital channels, I think on both a large scale and in everyday tactical strategies. These systems must work on both levels in the end.

I'm curious about every person’s seat at the table and have played many different roles over the years. When I'm selling, it's an invitation to participate. We’re coming into things together. My clients always feel like I’m on their team. Because I am.

All of this sets me apart. But behind it is a deep understanding of design, culture, and psychology. That is my playground. My passion in those spaces has made me unique. I'm not exactly what you see on the outside; it takes working together a little bit to understand. Are you going to take the time?
